This Pulitzer Prize-winning book is one of the greatest comedies ever written. Ignatius Reilly is that arrogant guy that makes your skin crawl but you keep talking to him because you just can’t believe he’s unaware that he can be so oblivious that he’s so off-putting. So you watch and listen in amusement and amazement.
He’s one of my favorite characters in literature. His name alone cracks me up. He’s earned a statue in New Orleans, LA and it looks EXACTLY the way I imagined.
